According to CIT, since 2022, the war in Ukraine has resulted in a record number of civilian casualties, including both deaths and injuries.

According to the Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT) report "Blood Against the Backdrop of Negotiations: Civilian Casualties from Shelling in 2025," at least 2,919 civilians were killed during the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine in that year. The number of wounded among the civilian population reached 17,775 people.
