Russian armed forces struck a number of Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Kremenchuk. As a result of the attacks, residential high-rise buildings were damaged, and a Ukrainian government building was also hit.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU), at least two people were killed and another 18 were injured during the Russian attack on Kyiv.

Among the affected structures were a nine-story residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district and a four-story building in the Darnytskyi district. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko also reported that debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle fell on the building of the Ukrainian government for the first time, causing a fire on the upper floors and the roof.
