Ukrainian drone strikes hit Saratov on the evening of August 10, according to regional governor Roman Busargin. Debris from one drone crashed near an apartment complex, resulting in one fatality.
Multiple civilians sustained injuries, with at least one requiring hospitalization. Authorities evacuated occupants from three residential buildings in the area.
Busargin confirmed damage to a local industrial facility during the attack. The Telegram channel Exilenova+ identified the affected site as an oil refinery located in Saratov's southwestern Zavodskiy district.
Russia's Defense Ministry reported intercepting 121 Ukrainian drones that night, including eight over Saratov Region.
