The Central District Court of the city of Chita has issued a ruling imposing a fine of 800 thousand rubles on the bookstore chain "Chitay Gorod" (Read City). The basis for this was an administrative protocol under the article on so-called "LGBT propaganda" (Part 1 of Article 6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This information was disseminated by the publication "Mediazona."
The "Chitai-gorod" bookstore chain was fined for selling publications that, according to inspectors, contain propaganda of so-called "sexual anarchism."
