Putin has once again rejected the possibility of deploying foreign military formations on Ukrainian territory and insisted that Kyiv officially formalize territorial concessions through holding a referendum.

Vladimir Putin, during his speech at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), once again warned European states that the deployment of their military contingents on Ukrainian territory could lead to them becoming legitimate targets for strikes by the Russian Federation.
