As a result of a strike carried out by Russia on the village of Yarovaya in the Donetsk region, more than 20 civilians were killed. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to his information, the attack occurred during the distribution of pensions to local residents. He did not provide additional details.

According to data from the regional administration, the death toll stands at 21 people, with the same number injured.

Rescue services, medical personnel, police, and representatives of local authorities are currently working at the scene.

"Such actions by Russia must not go unanswered by the international community. The Russian side continues to destroy lives but avoids new serious sanctions and consequences. The world must not remain silent. The world cannot stay passive. A response from the United States is required. Action from Europe is necessary. A reaction from the G20 is needed," Zelenskyy emphasized.
