The Moscow Prosecutor's Office announced the in-absentia arrest of singer Monetochka (Elizaveta Gyrdymova) in a criminal case related to failure to fulfill the obligations of a "foreign agent" (Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Russian Criminal Code).

According to the department's press release, the performer had been twice held administratively liable under a similar article within a year. However, she continued to post materials on social media without the mandatory labeling.

Information about the criminal case initiated against Monetochka emerged in September 2024. Additionally, the artist was declared a federal fugitive.

The Russian Ministry of Justice assigned the singer the status of a "foreign agent" in January 2023.
