Russian goalkeeper Nikita Khaykin, who plays for the Norwegian football club Bodø/Glimt, intends to obtain a passport from this Scandinavian country and in the future represent its national team. The relevant information appeared in Sport Baza.
According to the Telegram channel, Khaykin renounced his Russian football citizenship, indicating Great Britain in the FIFA system (he holds British and Israeli passports). According to the source, the athlete has recently rejected offers from Russian national team coaches who wanted to invite him to the team at least four times.
"Khaykin responded with a refusal and made it clear that further attempts are useless. He has already passed the language test to obtain a Norwegian passport, which is being processed for him under an accelerated procedure," notes Sport Baza.
